Hi,

Some time ago I came across this extraordinary construction. I am a great fan of hydroplanes and thought it would be good to have this one in my collection. As usual I won't be able to make the model "out of box", because so many fine details would be lost.

I found a great walk around which will help me detail up the model.

I will be grateful if you could give me any reference (pictures, drawings etc.) of the hydro acoustic equipment attached to the winch on the left side.

I've started with thermoforming of windscreen. I used 0,12 mm PVC film and hot air gun.

Thank you for the links - i will carefully watch that build thread at home. And maybe will try to find an e-book of that magazine as well Wink

I didn't have much time over the weekend, but managed to cut out the engine covers and reduce the thickness of the fuselage walls.

А я думаю, именно так и можно его победить. Я тоже об этом думал, но как-то с духом не собрался. А теперь может, когда будет мастер-класс может и соберусь с силами!

Уокер - thank you very much for the drawings and the article - all reference is welcome, because as you've noticed this model will heavily upgraded with scratbuilt parts. From Amodel I will use only Рожки да ножки Very Happy

- part of the fuselage and floats.

I've made the firewall between engine room and the cockpit. And then started detailing the "front office".

Hi Анатолич, yes I will make the engine but a bit later. I want to finish the cockpit first and then come back to the engine room (at least one engine cover will be open). Once everything inside is finished I will focus on exterior details.
