Оно конечно спасибо за инфармацию,но заглянув в прайс "распродаж" испытал недоумение...
Типмчный пример-Ан-2 1:48 Valom старая цена-84,95$,новая-50,95$ (http://www.greatmodels.com/~smartcart/cgi/display.cgi?item_num=VAM48001 ) Это при том,что совсем недавно прикупил его же за 1270р(вроде бы),а в магазинах в Нижнем он же идёт за 2100р... Или они его в Нижнем покупали,или-очень жадные Mr. Green

Но с А-моделом пример как-то не очень... На офф сайте А-модела А-маркет тот же Ил-18 идёт за 144,40 $ с бесплатной доставкой http://www.amarket.pl.ua/index.php?productID=117 А вообще-по ценам можно спорить бесконечно Smile

Sprue Brothers Acquisition of GreatModels

Dear Valued Customers,
Sprue Brothers Webstore LLC is acquiring GreatModels Webstore LLC and its wholesale company, Douglas Model Distributors LLC.

We wanted to clarify what such an acquisition will imply to you and what will happen to the service you came to expect from your favorite hobby supplier. We monitored the Newsgroups in the last two days to identify the most important issues to address for our valued customers.
1. The physical move of GMW and DMD inventory from Utah to Missouri will happen in the next 30-60 days.

2. Until the physical move happens, GreatModels is unchanged, its website works, its customer support is available, and we ship as usual

3. The company "Field of Armor Tanks", including the 1/6 scale tanks still remains in Utah and is not part of this sale.

4. Pre-Orders: Bronco 1/35 Buffalos and Kinetics 1/35 MRAP M-ATV should arrive this week. HK Models 1/48 B-25J lands in the US early April. Please notice that only a handful of pre-orders are now showing on the website. Those pre-orders are expected to arrive before the physical move of GreatModels to Missouri. All pre-orders NOT fulfilled by the time of the move will be refunded to credit cards, or the pre-order will be transferred to Sprue Brothers - at the customer's discretion.

5. Wish Lists/Requests: GreatModels will forward your wish lists and requests to Sprue Brothers. It will be their prerogative to fulfill those requests

6.Credits: Customers have until April 15th to use their online credit. You can use your credit by buying any product at GreatModels since these credits were given from incentives or double shipping costs, etc.

7. Employees: We appreciate the outpouring of support for our valued employees and concern for their future. Please note that Utah unemployment rate is 5.8%, the 6th lowest in the Nation. Right now, only 2 employees were not yet offered other positions after the move is complete. Most of our employees have been with GreatModels from 5 to 10 years. They are all hard working and train to multi-task.

8. An Acquisition Sale? Of course, we need to make a sale from now to closing time. It is VERY SIMPLE: 40% OFF on all inventory except NEW items and Tasca Models/Pacific Coast Models (20%). First come, first serve... Sales are final. The sale will end when we give the "Keys to Sprue Brothers".

9. Only "in stock" inventory currently shows on the website (and a dozen pre-orders). It is over 25,000 products. It is ready to ship "Same Day" if ordered by 2PM MST.

On a personal note, I would like to invite our valued customers to consider this "business consolidation" as productive for our favorite hobby. GreatModels is "my baby". I built it in the summer of 1997, on a dream that few keywords in a search engine could show a variety of models, accessories and reference material. It was a "fun ride". I have chosen "Sprue Brothers" and Gordon Kwan to follow up on my dreams for various reasons, but mostly TWO MAIN reasons:
• Gordon Kwan has a similar dream, and a lot of energy to carry it out!
• Sprue Brothers location in Missouri is central to all US Customers. His quick shipping capability allows all customers to be serviced quickly

Ну очень типичный, да. Смотреть чешский пластик в американском магазине ..... Нет слов. Вы лучше посмотрите на позиции, например, американского ревелла там, потом делайте выводы. Да и то, не спешите ими, выводами, делиться, а то опять конфуз будет.
По сабжу: дня два назад упало мне в рассылку, но цены вроде пока идут без 40%, надо что-нить заказать и посмотреть, а вообще, неплохой был магазинчик, много чего у них заказывал.

Pavel_P там единственное неудобство, лично для меня, они трекер не дают при отправке первым классом, а если отправлять приорити, то выходит дороговато, а так доставка до Смоленска в среднем обходится в районе 20-25 за посылку с парой коробок в 48-ом и/или 35-ом и мелочью в виде декалей/травленки/смолы.

Old_Punk, Hannants также работает, дешево, без трекера.
